Overview of Chicago Gourmet Fest:

In September 2008, the Illinois Restaurant Association will launch the inaugural Gourmet Chicago food festival in Millennium Park. The fest will showcase Chicago's high profile chefs and sommeliers, and the price tag to attend will reflect that.

Chicago Gourmet - Tickets and Admission:

One-day Pass: $150
Weekend Pass: $250
Tickets include wine and food samplings. You must be 21 to enter.

Chicago Gourmet Programs:

The program is still being set, but early info suggests the fest will include:

• Food samplings and wine tastings
• Celebrity chef demos
• 150 wineries
• A Grand Cru Tasting (additional admission price)
• A Culinary Institute of America World Flavors Pavilion, which will highlight Latin cooking (also an additional admission price)
