Many of Chicago's neighborhood papers have consolidated under single flagships, but they still strive, with varying success, to give Chicago's communities their voice. Find the city's more prominent neighborhood and community newspapers with these essential links.

North

  • Inside Chicago

  • Chicago Journal

    Publishing since 1882 and serving primarily the Hyde Park neighborhood.
